The Mere Golf Resort to create 100 new jobs

The Mere Golf Resort and Spa in Cheshire has announced it will create 100 new jobs in the next two months.

The complex, which currently employs 130 people, will hold two recruitment days, one on November 14 and the other on December 5, for potential candidates.

The facility is currently undergoing a major £15 million redevelopment programme which is due to end in March 2012. The resort will feature a new 81-bedroom hotel.

Graeme Nesbitt, general manager of the Mere commented: “This is a very exciting time for us as a company and it’s fantastic to be able to boost the local job market with our new development, especially in the current economic climate. It is such a great opportunity for anyone interested in furthering their career at the luxury end of the hospitality industry.”
