An expelled member of Dullatur Golf Club in Scotland has been reinstated by one of the most senior judges in the country.

Bobby Innes, who ran the club’s website as a volunteer, was, according to the Daily Record, booted out “following a spat with [the club’s] ex-captain”.

Innes took his club to the Court of Session, the supreme civil court in Scotland, where Judge Lord Uist ordered the expulsion to be lifted on the basis that the club’s disciplinary process was flawed. The club has been ordered to pay Innes’ legal costs.

You can reach Mr Innes using the email address of robert.innes@yahoo.co.uk
I have formed an opinion that this club and in particular some of its council members are what others would say “corrupt to the core” I personally would find it hard not to endorse this sentiment fully based upon the following evidence:-
    • I read the emails that the Captain at the time sent from his work place to Mr Innes in which he makes the most deplorable comments about the elderly members at the golf. These very comments were unjust and Mr Innes and his friend umbrage at challenged the Captain. He lied time and again when questioned about these.
    • I have encountered 1st hand the outrageous behaviour by council members towards other members and visitors, resulting in angst with no action taken against the council member.
    • The hate campaign conducted towards Mr Innes and anyone who supported him
    • The making up of false accusation about Mr Innes’s behaviour and what he was supposed to have done, even thou he was out of the country and nowhere near the golf course at the times mentioned because he had just had 2 knee operations. Very foolish indeed
    • Breaches of human rights and natural justice
    • Mr Innes built and run the website for the club for over 10 years. He owned the web site and the club officials knew this, yet individual council members at the club illegally accessed the web server and destroyed all of Mr Innes work and then tried to cover it up. They got caught and they lied and lied even thou the proof was there for all to see
    • The facts gathered and reported from the Judicial Review process. Mr Innes was suspended then expelled in his absence; in fact he was not even aware he was on any agenda for discussion. The part in the Petition (Queens Council : Mr David Bartos) clearly showing the captain lying to the members at the AGM to get Mr Innes expelled (Disgusting), I saw this with my own eyes and heard the captain speak one lie after another. In the months to come this man would not do the same before a judge knowing the consequences
    • Subsequent disciplining of people who supported Mr Innes
    • The council members look after each other’s backs so as to protect their own stagnant position on council.
    • Ambiguity as to the whereabouts of the million of pounds raised by the club as a result of a land sale to Cala. Has someone been lining their pockets, many members have asked? More investigation needed.
    • The ongoing scheming and lying of Snr. official’s towards its very own members both at EGM’s/AGM’s
    • Blatant breaches of the Data Protection Act
    • Threats of violence aimed toward Mr Innes both in the club locker room and also via written text placed on FaceBook by ex council members as well as vicious phone calls to his wife at home. The member linked to the FaceBook entries has been charged with committing a criminal offence and reported to the procurator fiscal for court proceedings
    • Cowardly office bearers , who implement the club’s rule and constitution as they see fit as long as it does not impact themselves

I really need details on what factors were present that turned the Bobby Innes dismissal hearing into a Kangaroo court. This is desperately needed information. Is it possible for me to have Booby Innes’s email address.

They have recently suspended another member and refused him the right of appeal. The same offence as Bobby Innes. The hubris of the ‘Office Bearers’ and the Council at Dullatur Golf Club will destroy a once proud club.
