Robbery at Alwickbury Park Golf Club

Alwickbury Park Golf Club’s greenkeeping shed has been broken into and power tools have been stolen.

The incident happened at the Hertfordshire club during daylight on a weekday afternoon nearly three weeks ago. A Stihl pole saw, a Kawasaki strimmer, a Stihl hedge trimmer, a Stihl chainsaw and a Stihl leaf blower were all stolen.

A member of staff at the golf club approached two men during the robbery and was threatened. Police believe a car, with a third man inside, was driven to and from the shed.

Anyone with any information is urged to dial 101 – the new non-emergency police number that is currently operational in some parts of the UK.
