6. Flag pin in bunker

Aldwickbury Park Golf Club in Hertfordshire put the flag on its 11th hole in a bunker next to the green, and golfers aimed for the newly-placed pin.

Andrew Shewbridge, the club’s manager, said: “As lots of golfers seem to find the bunker when playing normally, we thought we’d make it easier for them by putting the 11th hole in the bunker. It gave members something to smile about on April Fools’ Day!”
