A company that provides 3d flyovers of golf clubs for them to use in their marketing literature has said it will provide free flyovers in exchange for rounds of golf.

20-21 whole in one golf app_screens Nick Williams, a director for Whole In One Golf, said: “We are seeking one golf venue in each area of the UK and Ireland to offer a 3D flyover of your golf course (to use on your website) and a native (not web based app like others on the market) smartphone app for your members and visitors to use, for no cost. We also put the flyovers onto iPads in your golf carts with GPS, scorecard function and onto a large screen in the clubhouse. These are also for no cost.

“There is a massive data capture opportunity in the apps for you to benefit from plus other features such as 3D flyovers, GPS, pin positioning, fixtures, club news and software where you can move the pin positions on your courses, communicate this directly to the golfer out on the course as well as print out these pin position sheets for none smartphone users. These are also for no cost.

“The reason it is for no cost: We then partner with companies such as Jaguar, BMW, NFU Mutual and Handelsbanken as well as local and regional companies from sectors such as accountancies, wealth managers and solicitors, to put some small banner ads on the systems. All we ask for from your club is a few rounds of golf for each of our partners to showcase the course and our systems to them.

“A selection of the 100+ clubs we work with include: Moortown Golf Club, Yorkshire; Frilford Heath, Oxford; The Vale Resort, Glamorgan; Notts (Hollinwell), Nottinghamshire; Royal Ascot, Berkshire; Slaley Hall, Northumberland, The Carrick, Loch Lomond; Mottram Hall, Cheshire; Thorpeness Golf Club & Hotel, Suffolk; The Astbury, Shropshire; Concra Wood, Ireland; Carden Park Hotel, Cheshire; Ramside Hall Hotel, Durham.”
