The Golf Business has launched what is set to be the biggest recruitment portal in the golf industry, featuring hundreds of jobs such as club managers and secretaries, PGA professionals, food and beverage managers and greenkeepers.

Partnering with the country’s leading course management magazine, GreenKeeping, jobs.thegolfbusiness.co.uk will list jobs from clubs, associations and a number of leading golf recruitment agencies.

Using the latest technology, the site will ensure vacancies are seen by as wide an audience as possible, through integrations with services such as Google for Jobs.

Each position will also be marketed across The Golf Business’ social media accounts, including currently 9,000 followers on Twitter and 1,200 followers on LinkedIn.

“We’ve been listening to feedback from golf clubs for several months, who have been saying one thing the industry is missing is a one-stop-shop for golf jobs,” said The Golf Business’ recruitment manager, Lewis O’Sullivan.

“The launch of this portal means this issue is finally resolved. The range of jobs currently on jobs.thegolfbusiness.co.uk is staggering – from the executive manager at Clevedon Golf Club to assistant greenkeeper at Farnham Golf Club; from a catering franchise at Enfield Golf Club to golf coaches at Richmond Park Golf Course. Other positions currently include accounts administrators, chefs, bar tenders and starters at several golf clubs and even vacancies related to the golf industry, such as a sales role at a golf irrigation company or an account manager for financial services firm that serves the industry.

“Employers and potential applicants can select from featured jobs in a number of categories including club manager, PGA professional, greenkeeper and hospitality.

“Job seekers can sign up for email notifications about new jobs that meet their requirements.”

Anyone who wishes to post a job can do so here for prices starting from just £295 for a month’s listing. There is an additional 25 per cent discount if you post the job before April 30, using the code TGB25.
