If you are a fan of ‘The Last Dance’ on ESPN and have been watching it, through the events of the past six Sundays, you would have understood that the man named Michael Jordan has an undying love for the golf course.

While you may be aware of this through the show, another thing we are not sure that you are aware of is the fact that Michael has his own golf course. Because of this, we have invested in bringing you the most important five things you need to know about Jordan’s extra exclusive golf course in Florida. This golf betting guide is excellent for both beginners and more experienced golf bettors.

The name of the golf course Is ‘The Grove XXIII’

Now, the golf course is titled ‘The Grove XXIII,’ and the roman number 23 is not a strange thing in Michael’s life. If you could recall, his jersey mostly had that number when he played for the Chicago Bulls. The golf club is situated at Hobe Sound, Florida. It was launched in the fall of 2019, after being under construction for a long time. It was in 2015 that the information came out that Jordan wanted to own a personal retreat ground. That was actually when he acquired the land where he wanted to site the club in Florida. The principal owner of the property and the golf course is Michael Jordan.

The club is only by invite, and the members are less than 100

The report that surfaced years ago had it that membership of the club is extremely small, and according to the report, that was Jordan’s exact plan when he set out to establish the club. In February this year, Rickie Fowler, NASCAR driver, Michael Waltrip, and NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin all played golf in the exclusive club. Talking to the USA Today about this retreat, Hamlin posited that the golf course is unbelievable. He went ahead to spill the beans by saying that the club has only 75 members, and that he hopes to become the 76th member in the coming weeks. For him, getting the invite to play and become a member of such an exclusive establishment is a very huge honour to him. He said that the club is a very new one, and that it’s been in existence for a few months. Looking towards the future, he talked about the fun he hopes to enjoy at the club in the next 20 to 30 years, so far as he still has the ability to play.

A Masters champion is one of the proposed members

On the Dan Patrick Show some weeks back, Phil Mickelson revealed that he is about to join Michael Jordan’s club. Talking about that, Mickelson said he is fortunate enough to know some of the members of the club. He revealed that he and his wife have just purchased a lot close to the club. The lot is about 10 -15 minutes from the club, so he will enjoy practicing and playing in the club.

There are several different loops that the course can be played in

Information coming out from Golf Digest has it that this course, which was designed by Bobby Weed, is equipped with the double-helix type of routing. The meaning of this is that players can enjoy their golf in three-hole to six-hole loops or in four combinations of nine-holes.

The clubhouse is anything but old school

It was the NBWW architectural firm that designed the clubhouse. This house covers 15,000 square feet and consists of a dining room, pre shop, lounging areas, and men’s and women’s locker rooms. Talking about the design, Don Wolfe of NBWW revealed on their website that their design idea for the course was based on finding a way to infuse, corporate finesse, the athleticism of Michael Jordan, and the flow and precision of the golf wing together in the bid to come up with a contemporarily detailed clubhouse design.
