5. You can buy mulligans

Software firm intelligentgolf announced on its Facebook page that members of golf clubs can now buy ‘mulligan credits’ from its touchscreen terminals.

Under the new system, you purchase the amount of credits you want before your round, and then can use them to disregard poor shots of the golfer’s choosing.

Players are advised to submit the score they ‘should’ have got, if they buy the credits, rather than what they actually got, for the purpose of scoring an accurate handicap.
